Coaching is an unregulated profession. That means that there are no national or international regulations regarding the standards and/or mandatory training in the field. Many coaches seek credentialing and abide by the standards of Professional Organizations, like the ICF, the International Coaching Federation, or the CCE, the Center for Credentialing and Education, which offers credentialing for people with prior university degrees.
I am holding the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) (July 2025)*, as well as the Board Certified Coach certification.
*Before that, I was certified as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) (September 2022).
